Each night of the Action Sports Retailer Trade Show in San Diego, CA, from September 9-11, 2005, provided a large dose of beachwear and street fashion trends—not only from the people who attend the parties themselves (and listed in Nixon Party Planner)  but also from private collections and fashion shows at various clubs. The big ticket this Fall was the Billabong/Teen Vogue party and fashion show on Broadway September 9th.

Highlights included bikini bottoms that were actually surf-able, plus denim skirts paired with bikini tops, tube-top cover-ups with beach scenes, mini skirts paired with thick leather belts and buckles, ruffled shirts, big flowers, and multiple metallic necklaces.
