When we heard that Tsubi, known for their creative denim pieces by three Australian surfer guys who look like rockstars, was opening up a store in New York City, we had to know where, when, and what’s up. Last month, at 219c Mulberry St. in Nolita, a hard-to-find little place became the first U.S. store of these fabulous jeans. But there’s more: Tsubi, as we wrote about in the May, 02005 Label Lab Newsletter on Denim, offers up some of the most original styles in fashion, including late-80’s motif T-shirts and shades. But it’s Tsubi’s denim pieces that pack the most attitude, including amazing packaging, which totally set them apart from other brands.
