Palis Represents Core Directions in Urban Streetwear with Barrel of Gun Motifs, Ninja Moves, Varsity Letter Jackets, + Now Sneakers

Palis out of New York City is a core streetwear brand that once was intended for such a select audience, that many people who are huge fans of streetwear, simply didn’t know the brand existed. In the last two years however, the brand has gained serious popularity, showing at trade shows such as Agenda in San Diego and United in New York. They’ve not only launched a much-needed women’s streetwear line for women, but also changed up their collection, including adding new designs, varsity letter jackets, and now sneakers.

Recent motifs such as the barrel of a gun and type “Sk8 or Die” are among more popular styles, as well as their new Ninja with Japan red-dot flag cut-and-sew T-shirt. However Palis, also known for their classic all-over print hoodies have refreshed the patterns this time with money as the textured style.

In addition, this season’s collection offers up a new aspect on the preppy polo with collared long-sleeved shirts and stripes including a gold stripe for a touch of bling, and emblems and iconographic revolutionaries on the chest like logos. Other graphics include kings heads, spider webs in bright blue with a brown background, and their classic varsity letterman jackets in black and white. One of the big surprises of the brand however is the introduction of their sneaker line—Palis-designed paintings on various brands, plus new treads that are so cool, you don’t ever want to get them dirty.

Their philosophy of Everything You Can Imagine is Real can be seen on some of the more progressive graphic designs and attention to detail where truly everything tells a story—even the keepsake collectors shoebox graphics that stuff is shipped in. For example, the necktape on some of the T’s are clearly done with painstaking care, and gold threads and diamond glitter highlights on some of the women’s streetwear pieces, not to mention ironic graphics of flying cassette tapes.

Palis is clearly creating their own kingdom, which kings and queens of streetwear are moving towards fast as the brand continues to step-up to the next level in design and graphics.
