Reef revealed their next season’s summer collection in a unique show on a manmade runway out on a lake in front of the ISPO Trade Fair last week, July 9th in Munich, Germany, to scores of mostly German fans. The scene included a beach set-up with sand, lounge-chairs, and even a pre-runway wakeboarding session by top pros in the sport. However the highlight was to see what the brand had to offer given that the sandal company has been dedicated recently to expanding it’s collections—namely it’s Girls Spring Collection ‘08.

With an excellent DJ set by, Freddy J from France imported in to deliver the background music, the show was clearly a major hit not only for the designs in the collection, but as usual, the famed Reef models themselves.

Highlights included a fresh dose of color ranging from bright tropical patterns (but not rave) mixed with camouflage, to all-turquoise, and animal prints. The bikinis were versatile and could be worn different ways based on the designs of the straps. In addition, the Reef collection of  bandeau tops and cover-ups were like sundresses and made for a complete collection. The other trends from Reef were reversible bikinis allowing the wearer to get two looks for the price of one, short shorts, cute onsies, and summer dresses in either halter tops, sleeveless, or spaghetti straps.
