The artistic aspect of the recent Sneaker Pimps tour that stopped in Los Angeles included top pieces from the K-Swiss tour. Displayed on a chain-linked fence, the K-Swiss art sneaker gallery included painted shoes from a variety of top artists in graffiti, street, and sneaker culture, making the show incredibly vibrant and interesting. Motifs ranging from cityscapes to faces, text to bubble-graffiti lettering showed the crossover effects of today’s street culture art and sneaker culture.
K-Swiss as a brand has revitalized its position in footwear through their K-Swiss K-Spray Tour, and as seen at Sneaker Pimps, attracted a subculture of followers of both art and sneakers.
