The opening night gala event at MAGIC International Fashion Trade Show is always an upscale affair, however this year, it included a philanthropic component with proceeds from ticket sales ($100 each) going to the New Orleans chapter of Habitat for Humanity. As fashionistas from the show dressed in latest upscale Mardi Gras apparel, the party also offered feather masks, beads, excellent Cajun food, and of course an amazing concert by the Neville Brothers.
