The 2nd night of each MAGIC Fashion International Trade Show is a party known as the South Hall Party that attracts street, urban, hip-hop inspired fashion players from the trade show to dance and party.  On Valentine’s Day, MAGIC presented Timbaland and Omarion. Unfortunately, Timbaland was sick and came out dressed nicely in a dapper suit, but moving relatively slowly and drinking a cognac as he apologized to the audience in a raspy voice that his recent tour had got him down. He danced a bit with Omarion, but it was mostly the Omari show when it came time for entertainment.

Known as the former lead singer for the hip-hop/R&B boy band B2K, Omarion has since moved on with his single “O” and collaboration for Bow Wow called “Let Me Hold You” which reached #4 on the Billboards. Timbaland, who was supposed to be the headliner, produced Omarion’s second single “Ice Box” off his recent album “21.”

Omarion’s also known for incredible dance moves which clearly stoked the crowd on Valentine’s Day, who patiently waited through the Christopher Brian fashion show, the brand endorsed by Omarion and created by manager Christopher Stokes, which featured some interesting new concepts in upscale streetwear with cashmere, leather, and wool pieces. The runway show in the middle of the party provided a unique venue for showcasing one’s line outside of a trade show booth or as part of the MAGIC Fashion Runway.

Overall the night had many people from the South Hall taking part in a late night affair that stepped up the buzz the next day of the trade show.
