One of the best things about covering youth culture is that no matter what high-end runway designers predict is going to happen in fashion, it’s almost never the same when it comes to young people. This is because most young people dress in an ensemble style -mixing and matching what they can afford and what’s available, resulting in a very collage or DIY-effect -which is then often copied by high-end designers as being “new.”
