Rocawear moves into Europe in a big way.

New moves by Iconix and VF Corp indicate that new target markets are in store for American brands seeking growth.

First, Iconix announced they will relaunch Rocawear (formed by Jay Z) across Europe, with a strong push with its denim selections for 13-30-year-olds.

Managing Director of Iconix Europe, Simon Brown stated, “Rocawear has a rich DNA within the celebrity and US markets, we have worked alongside our core licensees to utilize the key elements from the brand and gibe it a denim-based European twist. The new marketing campaign will also enhance the sales opportunities with the trade and consumers alike.”

Rocawear will be in a variety of locations, from department stores to independent retailers, as well as online in various locations throughout Europe in 2012.
