Shepard Fairey at Asbury Park.
Thanks to the heads-up from Wooster Collective, here’s another great story of street art making a difference. Shepard Fairey is painting the town of Asbury Park with a variety of huge murials, and various ephemeral and hard-painted pieces (such as the one above, which he hopes will last).
In this video, it described how the concept came about and what the street artist’s work may be able to do for the area, culturally.
