Art Basel installation.

Art Basel has started today, December 2, and will be running through the next week in Miami, FL, featuring more than 2,000 different types of global artists from around the world. This event, which also attracts a fair amount of street artists, musicians, advertisers, and marketers, is one of the premiere locations to pick up on new ideas and concepts, inspiration, and art. 250 of the leading galleries attend annually.

In addition, on Friday, December 3rd at Art Basel at 10.p.m., folks from the Wooster Collective will be hosting their final book party launch “Trespass -A History of Uncommissioned Urban Art” by Taschen books, with an intro by Banksy, at the store in Miami. On-site DJ will be Shepard Fairey. The hype that is surrounding this event is high as many artists featured in this street art book are anticipated to attend.
