From Bonnier Media selling off its Mountain Group division including Ski, Skiing, and Warren Miller, to rumors abounding that ESPN is in the midst of laying off hundreds, to the latest news that the kingpin of action sports media, TransWorld has just been bought by GrindMedia.

GrindMedia, which is actually owned by Source Interlink Media, will be taking on TransWorld SURF, TransWorld SNOWboarding, TransWorld SKATEboarding, TransWorld Business, TransWorld Motocross,, TransWorld Riude BMX, and According to the recent press release about the acquisition, the combined business reaches an average monthly audience of 30 million outdoor enthusiasts.
